Do you have any hidden talents?
I know acupressure massage. Fear me.
What’s the quirkiest thing about you?
I can do a mean imitation of a small dog’s bark and a cat’s meow.
What’s your favourite place you’ve ever visited?
The indigenous village of Duona in Taiwan during their harvest festival. I loved the warmth and goodness of the people, and their respect for and connection to each other, as well as the land and nature around them.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The power to create clones of myself and disperse them at will like in the anime Naruto.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the next best time is now.” Just because you’re starting something later, doesn’t mean it’s too late to start—seize the moment and make the most of it. It is only too late when you give up.
